Timing: Variable Tempo: Variable Sequence Dancing involves couples dancing around the dance floor all doing the same set of steps or 'sequence' hence the name. Couples do not deviate from the set pattern for that dance and as a result all move around the floor together. Sequence dances cover the whole spectrum of rhythms and one minute you may be dancing a Square Tango or a Mayfair Quickstep and the next you could be grooving away to a Sally-Ann Cha Cha or a Dirty Mambo.
